Super Cute, Works Great, Couple of Quirks
Overall I love these bracelets and have no major complaints! They work just as intended and we have a lot of fun with them. They're great when we're too busy to be at our phones, plus with time differences, its so nice to just feel that someone is thinking of you and send that little virtual message. Somedays, socialization is exhausting lol so this is a great option for me to stay connected with my BFF on the other side of the world!
NOTE: I will say that the description is misleading. I ordered basic options, no charms, nothing like that. The description suggests it can be for couples, parents and children, and friends. However, when they arrived, I noticed an engraving on the back that says "My heart is and always will be with you." While this is a sweet sentiment... it felt really weird sending this to my BFF LOL! I love her dearly and we tell each other we love each other all the time, but this felt a little too romantic for us when it was only intended to be a long distance BFF gift for both of us. We had a laugh over it and it's not a big deal at all, it is on the bottom so we ignore it, but it still seems odd to offer this kind of engraving and not even mention it in the description (unless I missed it). I think it would be nice to opt out of this, or have an option to write something else.
My only other suggestion is more toward the app. Overall, I love the app, but I'd love it even more if we had more customization options. This is just nitpicky details, but the background is also very romantic. It would be super cute if we could choose from others that are more friend-centric. There IS an option to upload your own - if I ever have a chance to be in person with my BFF, we will definitely take pics to upload here! I also would like to be able to edit the signals/messages more. You CAN edit the messages, select 2 that can be pressed via the bracelet, and you can even change the colors. The only thing you can't change is the little in app icon. There is a heart, a bear, a sad bunny, and a cloud. The default options make sense for these - sad bunny was I miss you I think, and things like that. But we had a lot of fun changing the messages and colors to fit in with our vibe and friendship, but the icons really don't fit with what we edited. Again, not a huge deal at all, we mostly ignore the in app icons BUT it would be the cherry on top if we could change out the icons, too.
