Flexible belt, love the collar, very comfortable
Victoria is a win for me!
I've been looking for a dress with a more conservative neckline in a midi to maxi length. Victoria does a really nice job. Here are my thoughts. I'll also post an official review online:
Sleeves - I like that they are long but you can roll them up. The one review online said the sleeves are tight. I can see how that could be true for some people but for me they fit nicely.
Length - I love the length. It would be nice if there was one more button at the bottom to be a little more conservative but the last button is low enough that it doesn't bother me too much.
Belt - There are no loopholes, which adds to the flexibility of this dress. You can put the belt wherever your waist lies and you're most comfortable.
Collar - It is a little stiff which I really like. To me it adds to the polish of this dress. I had two buttons at the top unbuttoned. You could button one or even two for a more conservative look. I'm not a fan of showing too much skin up top, especially cleavage, so the collar really hits the mark for me.
Sizing - I could have ordered an XL but the pics looked baggy to me so I ordered a L. I'm pear-shaped, 210 pounds, 5'6", for science. I'm glad I ordered the L but I would probably have been OK with the XL too.
Normally I wear bike shorts underneath but am not in these photos since I was in a hurry.
Overall this is a dress I can wear a lot for work, feel comfortable presenting in, feel professional, but still be able to help setting things up if needed.
