Perfect breathable layer
These are the perfect shorts to wear under dresses to prevent chaffing. They are a little see through so would not recommend wearing as your only bottom layer. They are very comfortable and breathable.

Ideal under layer
I love these bike shorts! I now own three and want a couple in a size down (I had sized up). They are the perfect layer under my rip skirts to make them similar to a skort for a little security in the breeze. I also use them as pajama bottoms and underwear in a pinch. They are great for travel as they pack light in a minimalist wardrobe. I personally wouldn't wear them out of the house as a standalone, but I could see others doing that if they wear bike shorts out and about. I can't say enough about Wool& fabric and quality. Luxurious and well-made.
