Prefer the for of the original Day Construct

I have four pairs of the original Day Construct and a few pairs of Britt and DX. The Day Construct is my go to--they fit perfectly across the hips and waste and women always ask where I got them. Suddenly, however, all of the Day Construct were out of stock except for the new denim and canvas, so weekend I saw these, I jumped at the chance. The new elastic waistband causes the pants to ride up my waist, leaving a lot of material puffing/building up around the front and waist. Maybe ordering a size down would have helped, but the cut is still off. Essentially they now fit more like the other styles. The fabric is nice, but overall, the for just doesn't work if you're looking for the classic Day Construct. Please bring back the original fit and ripstop fabric!!

The best hot-weather work pants

I live in the desert and these pants have been a life savor as temperatures rise over 100 degrees. I love that they still have all the other functions I need too like stretch, knee pad pockets and plenty of cargo pockets. The only thing I would ask for is more color options!

They are a little tight in the waist, but that is my own fault. I meant to just try them on and then put something else one, but I didn't want to take them off once I tried them on. Very comfortable!
