Roller Saddle Tune-o-Matic Bridge
I play guitars with Tune-o-Matic bridges, which usually have blade saddles. I play with my fingers, not a pick, but keep breaking strings, at the bridge. Initially I thought it was my Gotoh bridge which was at fault, so I bought a Wilkinson replacement from Northwest Guitars. I still kept breaking strings. I concluded that there was nothing wrong with either bridge which kept breaking strings; it was more to do with my playing style. I then found out that a T-o-M bridge was available with roller saddles. NWG helpfully confirmed that the Roller Saddle bridge for Epiphone would be a replacement for the Wilkinson bridge. I bought and fitted one of these. So far it has been successful in that I have had no breakages. This may well be a solution to the problem of string breakages at the bridge.

Roller Saddle Tunamatic sty;e Bridge for Gretsch, Epiphone etc
A nice Bridge required for a Gretsch 6120TG - I always fit a roller saddle Tunamatic bridge to Gretsch guitars as it allows intonation and also string travel is not affected by the Bigsby. The strings stay in tune better as another benefit. I made a rough adjustment to the saddle positions before fitting, put a new set of strings on the guitar and fitted the bridge which dropped on easily to the existing posts. The string height was set on the turnwheels and the strings were tuned, then the bridge was finally adjusted for intonation which was straightforward. This now plays great, sounds good and works well. Good value for money. It is slightly deeper in height than the original bridge but fitted without any further work to reduce the height of the unit.
