Semi-dead on arrival and a twisted Warrenty policy

The plant arrived semi dead with all leaves completely dehydrated and falling off. I immediately placed it in a bigger pot but within days and less than a week it’s completely dead. When I sent the picture to Everglades Farms I was told I can Or should’ve submitted the pictures within 48 hours which is what’s covered by their warranty policy. I ordered 3 plants and pictures are electronically dated and clearly show the papaya almost dead no leaves and the other 2 plants perfectly healthy and still are. I tried to save the papaya but it’s too damaged during shipping. I won’t order again as despite that I didn’t send pictures within 48 hours I took dated pictures and was trying to save the papaya which is exactly what they told other customers when they reported damage on arrival. They shouldn’t ship such very young and sensitive tree in the hottest days of this FL summer especially the way they package the plants with heavy shrink wrapped tight plastic at base and heavy rods insuring they’re still standing within 48 hours!!! That’s a lot of waste and not sustainable not to mention that you can’t get them to honor such narrow window Warrenty anyways. So disappointing
