MAGNIFICENT!
I ordered mine last fall when they were first announced and it was just delivered this week. I have been a Zaar Guitar owner of 2 acoustics for over 2 years now and have been extremely satisfied with both my Santos Rosewood and Zircote. Their workmanship, quality, gorgeous builds, overall tone/sound, electrics and playability have been unmatched! So when Craig made the decision to enter an electric solid body guitar into their catalog, well, without hesitation, I was down:) First, the overall design and esthetics are unlike anything on the market! It was a tough decision having a choice of six colors to choose from but I ultimately wanted something that popped so I chose the POLAR REEF/BLACK COMBO so when it arrived and I unboxed it..I had to just stand back, take a moment to behold the beauty of this gorgeous guitar! It is beautifully designed with an extreme high quality of craftsmanship. I was so anxious to get into my studio, plug it into my Orange Super Crush amp via my pedalboard and crank it. The result was unreal...ballsy, loud and crystal clear Humbuckers shook the room! It was a pro set up and perfectly tuned out of the box. I did not order the case right away as I have so many Strat/Tele type hard cased I thought might fit. Well..haha..they kinda do ok but this guitar design begs for a custom designed and cut case just for The Cicero Black so I will be ordering the case soon:). It plays like butter, smooth, nice, well polished fret ends and slick, sweet neck/fretboard combo. The black Zaar locking tuners are nothing like anything else out there...heavy duty and really gorgeous culminating in a beautiful headstock! OK, Craig, I know you are saying to yourself "will this guy ever stop"? Yup, so yea, I need to get back into my Nashville studio and write some new music with this amazing guitar which will suite my Rock, Metal and Nashville sounds all in one...but I still might plug my Tele or PRS in.....sometime ..LOL! So, my Blue Family is now complete! Or I could say.."my team is full":)

No regrets
I was so excited to get my Cicero! When I did, I let it acclimate to my home, the way I've always done with all my guitars. As soon as I could, I plugged it in and was impressed with the sound, but I noticed the high e attend was laying in the bridge pick up. I took it in to my luthier to have it looked over and have a set up done on it. I got a call letting me know 16 frets were sitting too high so it would take awhile to get the set up done. I'm disappointed, but I'm not giving up! I think this will be a nice little guitar once the frets are done and it has a full set up. I have no regrets buying this guitar!

Fun to play!
I love this thing. First guitar I've ever had with semi hemisphereacle fret ends, and they look great and feel nice. I have guitars twice this price that don't have frets this nice. Stock pickups are pretty good, but I ended up swapping them out for Zaar's Route 66 set. Came setup well, but I lowered the action a bit and it plays even more buttery than before.
