Impressed with orangewood guitar! Sounds very good- setup well- good fit/finish. I got the Oliver Jr. For the price- impressive guitar! For reference I have a Taylor 810 and while the Taylor is a “better guitar” - for most use cases I’m grabbing the Oliver Jr. Will likely get another later.

Fabulous for the price
I hadnt picked up a guitar in many years so spent the first week reacquainting my fingerswith muscle memory. Now that the callouses are coming back i’m so impressed with the sound quality. The action is good and it’s a beautiful little instrument. All in all for the price, i couldnt ask for a better guitar

Overall solid
As I let it sit it has become more woody and fun to play. For the price it’s solid. I was debating between this and the Martin lx1e. This is way cheaper not nearly as nice playing but still a great travel guitar and compared to other cheaper travel guitars this one is near the top. I do think with most orangewood guitars I’ve played the high strings are a bit too loud but the woody sound and guitars themselves are great. Being smaller it does sound a bit fake but I think the solid top helps. Overall I think I made a good purchase within my budget. Didn’t blow me away but also didnt disappoint. I got it during the anniversary so I got it cheaper which is nice. Their are really only a few travel guitars that aren’t terrible and most of them are like 400-600 dollars so this is a decent middle ground though it is a lot less nice then like a gs Taylor or Martin but way better then other cheaper travel guitars. So decent purchase for me
