Hyper Vest ELITE Weighted Vest | Thin, Comfortable, & High-Performance

I love this weighted vest! I bought the Hyper Vest Elite. It's snug, which is exactly what I want for running and weight training. No bouncing like my other 45-pound vest with cast iron weights, which I mainly use for hiking/walking and typically load to 20-25 pounds. I'm 6'2", 165 lbs. The Hyper Vest is loaded to 10 lbs, surprisingly heavy for runs, and so far that has been a good number for 2-3 mile runs or hill repeats. You'll be surprised at how much only 10 pounds will get your heart rate up during sprints! The Hyper Vest is well designed with its elastic side laces - you can dial in a fit that perfectly suits you. I got a Large. The Elite's CORDURA fabric is rugged, thin and comfortable. The price point of about $275 did make me hesitate. I wondered, "Do I really need a second vest at a cost of nearly $300?" But when it went on sale, I jumped, and it was absolutely the right choice because it has created new ways to have fun.

Good product, needs a few tweaks

The medium is a good fit for me: I'm 5'5", 120 lbs. I havent loaded the extra 10 lbs yet, I am walking with the ten lbs that was in the vest when I purchased it. So far, pretty good. I bought it to help with leg strength and osteoporosis issues. One feature I would like to see is two seperate tightening mechanisms on each side of the vest. If I could tighten the vest around my hips I could carry more of the load on my lower body and not have a pull down drag on my shoulders. I live in Florida and with the heat I tried wearing the vest with only a workout bra but the inside isn't as smooth and comfortable as I'd like it to be. If there was a pocket for a phone or key, that would be great. There is space high up on the chest, above the weight pockets. Finally, not even one month after receiving the vest I received a few emails offering 25% off the vest; makes me feel that I paid too much for the vest. About 25% too much.

Increase my dog walking exercise

My physical therapist recommended this vest when I asked about improving my dog walking exercise. I started off with about 7 pounds ans so far so good.
