Thank you BaseQI, the second adapter iSDA 350A fits. It is not perfectly flush but it is close enough. In the future I would make the adapters without the side edging. I have a 64 GB card that stays in the system permanently so I am not taking it out again.

Works as advertised, subtracting 1 star due to minor issues - Its slightly too small and difficult to extract with fingernails, you need a screwdriver. This is because its sized for a Macbook not an XPS and just happens to pretty much fit the XPS. - This is not clearly communicated to the buyer, you think you're buying an XPS specific piece of kit, but when you receive it, it says "for macbook" all over the packaging (and minor fit issue as described above).
