The protrusion is shy of a millimeter. I had a 128GB sd card from my old phone. Now I moved my download folder so it doesn't fill up my SSD. More space on SSD more efficient the drive runs. I'm happy with my purchase.

Unit works fantastically in Lenovo Legion Slim 7i. Easy to add extra microSD card capacity to my laptop.

I think it's very good adapter. Now I can use my laptop with much more memory with comfort.
