The rules and mechanics of this solo game are very easy to pick up and understand. Once I started to get into it I found it difficult to stop. You start building a world that’s interesting and filled with possibilities. Very fun.

Journaling game with clear instructions
This is a journaling game with very clear instructions and a great premise. I think it is a great idea to use a 24-hour diner as your 'office' while working on your podcast. It is also great to see so many useful random tables and a half-page list of inspiration sources.

Playing it over and over again
This was my first time with a solo game and I was a bit confused at first but once I figured it out I started having a blast. It's got this solo reporter, mystery vibe. The game has three acts to it. Most of the game play takes place during the second act, where you dive into the investigation, finding clues and exploring.
What made this enjoyable to me was that all of the clues and locations became jumping off points for me. If you like creative writing, you can use the prompts and events to flush out a full story. It's like becoming a writer for Twin Peaks
The ability to replay the game over and over again is nice too since the events rely on drawing cards and rolling dice. Each game would be different.
Things that I had with me that really brought out the best of the game were a notebook to keep track of stats, story points, and other pertinent information, a deck of cards, and some polyhedral dice. Although, I downloaded some apps for the last two.
