Supernote Nomad

Amazing tool. After faffing with the latest draft of my novel, I’ve used my Supernote to edit the pdf of my latest draft - it’s opened up my thinking in ways I didn’t think possible. It’s so portable and usable it’s been a joy.

Great for quick notes and simple sketching. I hadn't used an e-ink pen tablet before, and chose the Nomad because I thought portability would be useful, and because it was slightly cheaper (so less pain if I didn't end up liking it). Turns out I *do* like it, but if I could have a do-over, I'd go with the Manta - it turns out the larger writing surface is more useful to me than portability. Having more of the UI readily available and not having to pan/zoom as much when drawing is more important on e-ink than on LCD tablets because of the slower refresh rate. Happily continuing to use the Nomad for now, but will be looking for an excuse to upgrade when I can.

Actually 3.5 Stars. I am still trying to get used to the Supernote. My first challenge was after unboxing it would not connect to my Wifi (TP Link Deco). I ended up moving it to my 2.4 Ghz IOT connection which worked, but is not part of my home network. I (these are mine and not a Supernote issue) of figuring out a couple of features - but once I skimmed through the manual it made more sense to me. I think it would be good to preload the manual on the Supernote as that helps me with trying to figure out a feature. There was a couple of small things, but I think that they will be resolved in future updates from what I can tell and I look forward to updating to the 3.30 update.
