It works, but performance is unimpressive
The TLDR is that this works, but I wouldn't bother, just use paste. For more detail: This is precisely what is promises: It is Honeywell PTM7950. It is nicely packaged and it ships fast. Absolutely no issues from a fulfillment point of view, and you can trust it is genuine unlike random sellers on eBay. It also works fine, my CPU is running with it now and it keeps it under max temperatures, even under an unrealistically heavy load like Prime95. It has no issues cooling my hot and hungry 13900K. So why the mediocre review? Because it is a pain, and doesn't seem to be any better than a good paste. Application is rather tricky, as many people noted. It's not as easy as Linus makes it look in the video particularly if you've never done it before. It is hard to get the pad to stay and not to have part peel off with the plastic, and hard to get the plastic to start peeling. Putting it in the fridge helps very little as it heats up the moment it touches the CPU die and your fingers (which it would, since it conducts heat well). I find it much more fiddly than paste to apply. My first application went bad and I had to cut off a new piece and try again. I did get it applied though and then fired up my system. I did a few cycles of "run Prime95 for 10 minutes to heat things up, turn off the system to let it cool down" as recommended to it can undergo its phase changes and get in all the cracks. ...and in the end? Temperatures are basically the same as I had with Arctic Cooling MX-6. Both are fine, no thermal throttling in either case, but if there is any improvement, it is small enough I'm not noticing. Thus given the fact that it is pretty expensive, and a pain to install, I'd give it a miss and get a good paste, or go liquid metal if you really need good cooling. It just isn't worth the money nor the hassle. That said if you are determined to get it, I'd buy it here. LTT Store does a great job with fulfillment and this is probably the only merchant I'd trust to have genuine stuff given that too many shops let unregulated 3rd parties sell on them these days.

Does the job
I used this for repasting my old gaming laptop. Normal paste kept getting pumped out after a few months for me, this has maintained performance better for me so far. Installation takes a little bit of preparation, but I just threw it in the freezer for an hour before working and cut to size. No issues at all.

Thermal paste replacement for an Alienware m18 R2 laptop.
I decided to replace the thermal paste on my Alienware m18 R2 with an Intel i9-14900HX and an RTX 4090, which already had two years of use, and incredibly this thermal paste lowered the CPU and GPU temperatures by 15 degrees. It’s really high quality.
