PTM7950 Phase Change Thermal Pad

This Product Saved Me From Buying A New GPU!

My GPU kept overheating and I could not figure out why, having only had the GPU for around a year. I tried under-volting, and changing fan curves but nothing seemed to help in the end. Finally, I learned that it may be the thermal paste experiencing pump out, since I saw my hotspot spiking so high when I used GPU Z and other programs in my monitoring. I took a leap of faith and bought this product because everyone talked about having to reapply thermal paste and I wanted to avoid that. After seeing the LTT videos on this I purchased it and IT COMPLETELY FIXED MY PROBLEMS! Over half a year later and my thermals have never been better! I could see the OEM's thermal paste had left a whole area uncoated when I opened the GPU up and put this PTM in, and I have had zero issues or thermal crashes since! Like others say, throw it in the freezer then snip it to size with scissors! 10/10 would recommend!

Good Stuff

I’ve used lots and lots of high-end thermal pastes and this seems to be the thing that has worked best out of everything so far by quite a long ways! I have been seeing between 7 to 12°C. Drop on everything I have done so far which is over five cards now! Also drops the deficit between the GPU temperature and the hotspot temperature.

It was kinda difficult to get the peel of both sides, even after watching the video.. Temps are good and it has been through a few head cycles.
