I really wanted to love the Clean Monday Meals spicy seasoning. The idea of a clean, organic, gluten-free ramen spice that actually brings heat sounded awesome — and in some ways it delivers. The blend leans on real ingredients and doesn’t smack you with a wall of artificial sodium and chemical flavors like a standard instant packet. It’s noticeably cleaner on the palate, and perfectly suited for someone trying to eat thoughtfully without fake junk. That said, if what you’re craving is genuine chili heat and bold flavor, this seasoning doesn’t quite hit the mark. The “spicy” descriptor seems more in spirit than in actual chili impact. There’s a gentle warmth and some savory depth, but it lacks the real chili punch you get from a classic non-GF chili ramen packet. There’s no sharp pepper kick, no lingering burn, and frankly, no memorable spice curve. Compared side-by-side with traditional chili ramen flavor packs, it feels muted and mild — more of a cozy, easy-going warmth than anything fiery. I’m disappointed because that spicy chili ramen is my favorite.

So yummy! I just added a little cayenne and chili powder to spice it up. The flavoring is great though before the extra spice.
