Nat King Cole - Love Is The Thing

Ever since my childhood when I remember Nat singing "Too Young" or "Nature Boy" I thought he was the smoothest pop vocalist there was. This album is a nice souvenir of the man and his art. The reason this album has 2 missing tracks is because when it went from mono to stereo they "thought" they could not accommodate those two tracks...and those songs are available in mono only to this day. So this is the full album as presented in the stereo version.

Love is the Thing - DSD64

A decent transfer, although not HDTT's finest. The transfer levels seem hot, creating some bloat on the bottom end. The Analogue Productions SACD version of this recording is superior in every way, except for perhaps soundstage width.
