Nat King Cole, not only a supremely talented vocalist, but one of the best Jazz Pianists of his age. The other talent? He made Capital Records rich. Episodes of his doomed TV show are collectors items. It failed, not for the want of an audience but no white firm would sponsor it. All of the possibly 200 tracks Nat recorded are excellent and have stood the test of time. How could I not recommend this collection ‘Just One of Those Things’ with arrangements and backing provided by Billy May.
