Can’t control water valves

I tried with both D2D and through the app, but this model, unlike the one with numbered buttons, cannot control smart water valves. That doesn’t make sense to me: valves can be open and closed, which makes them clearly water ON/OFF switches.

ON/OF Fob, Some thoughts

Keep in mind this device is only useful as a D2D controller. You need to pair it with every device you want it to control. It does not work through your hub to kick off scenes or automations. It does Direct D2D ONLY. I'm not knocking it because it makes a super handy RELIABLE (ALWAYS WORKS) controller for devices you need to control even if your internet whacks out.
