ROKR Romantic Note Wall Clock 3D Wooden Puzzle LC701

I was worried it would be too difficult. It was not easy, it did require a LOT of careful observation of the instructions though! I used tea lights for parrafin wax - it's supposed to work well over time and not become sticky. I did hand sand almost every part - especially the gears! I recommend using nail emery boards and the stone pumice stick used for nails - they work fantasticlly for sanding inside the gear teeth. That or paper and a lot of patience. Or sandpaper wrapped around a pencil maybe? Anyway, this was super fun to out together and very satisfying when you see the gears work for the first time!!! For reference: I enjoy assembling Ikea furniture, legos and various dollhouse models.

The clock looks beautiful and the assembly was enjoyable. However, the pendulum string is very weak and broke shortly after installation, which was disappointing. Overall, the design is nice, but the quality of the pendulum string needs improvement.
