We bought this train for our Papa, who is a lover of all things models. Every day he tries to challenge his brain at 80, and this model at a level 4 proved to be the perfect challenge. He said “the directions were great. I loved the challenge of it.” The rubber bands didn’t propel the train as much as the metal coil featured in other Woodtrick train models, but the fun of making it was well worth every penny. The rounded wooden pieces that are meant to curve can be tricky. We found that wetting the wood helped it to bend more easily. Keep up the great work Woodtrick! We love your models!

Enjoy putting it together not finished need to add more paraffin wax . What I have done works smooth with a lot off wax. I do a little sanding also. So far satisfied even though I broke a piece being a hobbyist was able to fix it. Enjoying it much.

I couldn't do it - a key piece broke and I couldn't fix it. I was over half way done.
