With Cortland staff help, decided to pair the 7 weight Cortland Bass Intermediate line with a 7 wt. Echo 84B. This pairing is fantastic in the smallmouth streams of varying depths in my state ... it also excelled in the lower river levels of the Yellowstone in the fall of 2025 fishing Galloup style flies on the 84B.
