Great rod for the money. I broke 2 rods in a accident the day before the Kentucky River Musky Classic, and was able to pick up this rod from Dave on site. I fished it for 3 days, and was very impressed. The action is a bit more relaxed than some of the other musky rods I've fished. I was able to deliver the biggest flies in my arsenal without beating myself up. If I could make one improvement, it would be ceramic insert guides, but that would be impossible at this price point. Highly recommended bang for the buck. Dave and family are solid people and a pleasure to work with!
