It’s an amazing E-bike and with the extra back cage and front rack it’s totally versatile. I love it and the ability to to select from Class 1,2,3 or unlimited is a game changer. I recommend this e-bike to anyone who want to pedal and then cruise in style. Cheers Dave

My hunting will be easier and quieter

I finally pulled the trigger on an ebike and after extensive research and talking to ebike specialist I went with the Quietkat Apex XD. I am an avid hunter and I'm not getting any younger. I hunt in places that are 2 miles back in the deep woods. I will be using the bike this May for turkey season and I can't wait. I have already made a few purchases on some accessories for the bike to help with carrying my hunting equipment. I am still learning the different settings and getting use to the different levels. I highly recommend this bike for all hunters and non hunters for trail riding. Thank you Quietkat for an excellent built machine.

Apex XD Review

All right for starters I have had the Apex XD for about five months. Bought mid October round about. It’s heavy, e-bikes are awkward and a little clumsy to get used to. I’m not very tall 5 feet 8 ish, so it took some getting used to. However once I got everything down I realized Wow. Favorite man toy ever, seriously it’s like learning to hunt again. I love my Apex XD, the seat post instead of rear suspension is amazing. As soon as you take off extend all the way up, going around curves, slick spots and loose roads, coming to a stop don’t forget to bring the seat down as you slow down. Many are curious will it climb hills, yes absolutely. I live in the Ouachita Mountains and it takes me up anything I am comfortable enough to climb. If you have the means and are considering buying this bike i am here to say best money I ever spent. I saw more bucks this last deer season than I have in the previous five especially mature bucks. If you have been going in the woods the same way for multiple seasons add an e bike and see how many mature bucks you totally surprise. It’s not just being more sneaky and getting deeper in the woods. Acclimating to the conditions has been something I struggled with. It’s hard to get out of a warm vehicle and walk out into slept and rain and go on a hunt. However, getting on the bike and driving it to near where you want to hunt you have been in those conditions on the bike. When you arrive at your destination you’re ready to hunt. I saw more bucks making their way into bedding areas that I beat them to the bedding because of my apex XD as other hunters entered the woods and pressure got deer on the move to cover I was already set up and ready and nothing new I was there. I have had a crash or two these are not toys and you can get seriously injured if you don’t treat your bike with respect and take it easy going down hill. I lucked out with only a few bad bruises but I got it figured out pretty quickly. I can’t explain how much more time I have spent in the woods because of this purchase, I can’t explain all the beautiful sunrises and sunsets I have seen coming in after a great day out. What I can tell you is I won’t forget this season ever and I can’t remember the woods being this much fun since I was a kid, I’m 39. What I can also say is possibly my favorite hunting and leisure purchase ever. It’s a boss, I bought the 30 AH battery, like I said I’m in the mountains, it’s not the Rockies around here but we have a share of steep long inclines and I haven’t had to push or pedal to reach a summit if I didn’t want to. I never ran the battery completely dead though I have gotten close a 40AH if possible would probably make it through any day. Seriously this was a big purchase for me. I’m far from rich but I love the purchase and the miles are piling up. I have not had a serious problem. Couple miner issues and QUIETKAT hooked me up quickly with what I needed. I have had great success with customer support even without a direct line and they recently overnight shipped a part for me and that was awesome of them. Five months right around 700 miles and no problems. It took some getting used to but it’s been worth every penny!
