The system is installed and works well. The reason I gave four stars instead of five is the small cable components like the fuses and solar connectors came individually, would have rather had them all in one box.

I purchased the Craftsman Workshop 3000W Kit from Renogy in February 2026, I received it in less than a week from the day I ordered it. I'm not an electrician (just DIY) but I did a lot of homework online in order to understand how a Solar Package works and how to install it. I have a workshop that is too far from my home to tie into the electric utility, that's why I decided to try solar. Prior to installing the solar package, I wired my workshop with lights, switches, and receptacles, then tied them into a subpanel with (5) 20amp breakers. The Renogy Workshop Kit came with everything that you would need (that is why I decided to purchase it). I did install a couple of extra disconnect switches, so I could easily separate and turn off the power. The Solar Kit was straight forward, I just watched a couple of U-tube videos to help me along the way. As stated by others the schematic provided is a bit general, but after you understand how all the components work it does make sense. The actual install of the Renogy Workshop Kit took me about 30-45 minutes (that is excluding the solar panels, which took a little more time). The system works great through my 110/120v sub-panel, I now have lights and receptacles, no more need for a generator when I work in my shop. One other item that I did purchase was a 20amp Soft Starter receptacle for my table saw and mitre saw - the sudden surge of these tools was overloading the solar inverter, all other tools worked fine. I would recommend Renogy, if you want an all-in-one kit that is easy to install and affordable.

The Workshop kit is excellent as I believe all Renology products are. My only criticism or suggestion is that Renology should include a wiring diagram where suggested additions, like fuses, switches, etc. should go. The diagram on the website is confusing.
