Transition from ProMediaGear SS2 to QDP1 Strap Port System

I could not be more satisfied with ProMediaGear's strap port connectors. I have used the SS2 connector with my Black Rapid camera strap for the past 5 years. Due to a change in the cage, I am using with my Canon R5 Mk II, I needed to evolve to the QD Quick release plug. I have found the new plug to be of the same level of quality, functionality and workmanship that the SS2 plug represented. I love the option of two different styles of strap attachments. This system truly gives me peace of mind when I attach six to seven thousand dollars of camera/lens gear to my carrying strap.

As soon as I opened the package I knew I had made the right decision in purchasing the ProMediaGear QDP1-QD. Long time user of other QD fasteners and decided to switch to this item, together with ProMediaGear lens feet and L-Brackets. The quality is immediately evident from the way the item is packaged, to the fine quality of the materials and design of the connector. They look awesome and they work so well!
