Roto brushes save you SO MUCH TIME

These brushes save so much elbow grease. the 300mm brush means you can do one full even run of a board. I have the cheapo brushes from the ironing kits you can buy from that certain online book store, and it takes a very long time to brush and structure a board. Good hand brushes cost over 100 each, so getting this kit makes a lot of sense even though the initial cost for the kit is a bit pricey. I know the use of rotobrushes is a personal preference, but i'm now a believer. The only reason i'm giving this a 4/5 is because one of the end caps on the nylon brush was glued on slightly off so the hex shaft wouldn't slide through. I notified Purl and got a response right away, and with their blessing i was able to pry the cap off with a razor blade, re align the cap and a couple of drops of crazy glue to keep it in place. Both sides saved on shipping costs, i didn't have to wait for a warranty exchange, and I was able to fix the brush without fear of a warranty rejection. Thanks Purl. Probably wouldn't have had this type of personalized support if i purchased from a big corp.

Makes buffing a breeze

I love waxing my board but buffing the base after scraping is always a chore. This kit cuts the time and effort it takes but about 90%. I wax my family’s boards and some of my friends’ so it’s 100% worth it for me.
