Effective!
I upgraded my DIY ski maintenance kit this season to include the PURL brush set. I've used them a couple of times so far and the results are impressive. After waxing (with PURL wax) and then scraping, I used the 3 brushes in succession to achieve a thin even distribution of the wax. Nice polish when complete and the skis slide suberbly.
