I use it to clean the base after tuning and for summer storage. It fills the base and helps other temp specific waxes perform better!

All purpose clear wax

Excellent for storage wax. I always go through all my skis before storage for Summer. Clear wax also good for cleaning and conditioning bases. I leave it on thick making sure edges are covered. Then in mid November when we reopen already waxed for early season man made snow. As a veteran patroller of 27 seasons, ski care and maintenance is top priority. I love Purl wax products, I love what they stand for. I will continue to use Purl products.

Purl wax

I tune a few skis, and I am always trying different waxes. My main wax has been the Dominator all temp wax. I used the Purl on ten pairs of skis so far, using the 3 in 1 as a cleaner, and base prep, and then top coating with the Purl universal. Due to an injury I have not been able to ski it, but early feedback from people whose skis I put it on has been very good. In terms of working with it, it melts consistent, and scrapes well. It appears the universal should be very durable, and the price point is wonderful.
