Fosi Audio K5 Pro Gaming DAC Headphone Amplifier

Love it!

I've always wanted a headphone amp/DAC and when this K5 Pro went on sale, and since it was Father's Day, I pulled the trigger. The K5 Pro arrived in about a week. I had already watched the Fosi videos online showing how to hook it up to my PC and my PS5 (I use the included USB C adapter for both). On first listen, I wasn't blown away by the difference amp/DAC makes. However, I will say after extended listening that music sounds noticeably fuller with more punch. After tweaking a few settings (in Windows and in the Spotify app) music on my PC never sounded so good! I was hearing pieces of my favorite tracks I'd never heard in such clear detail before. Games on my PS5 weren't hugely impacted, but the soundtracks and sound effects were punchy and crisp. The midi tracks on the old Doom I/II games were vastly improved. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the K5 Pro. Fosi makes a good product and I will be using the K5 Pro until it dies. Now I just need to upgrade my headset.

Great DAC

This DAC opens up tuning your audio to great lengths, interface is easy to use, build quality is premium, I bought Sennheiser iE200 and the sound was muddy and something felt missing until i got the DAC once i started using it ill never do without it ever again. its truly a bargain for the price couldn't recommend it more enough.

Best Entry level DAC ever , runs my fosi audio i5 and my Moondrop Aria's just great.

Have been using it for almost a year, don't really feel the need to upgrade, using it with the fosi audio i5 and it runs them great. love the fact i can tune the basss and highs on the fly.
