Aeropress is Amazing!

I have actually bought the Clear, the XL, and the Steel. This was a gift for a 13 year old budding coffee nerd. He loves it! One thing that is overlooked about Aeropress it its ability to brew Decaf, Pour over stalls very easily with other brewing methods but Aeropress eliminates this issue. I purchase very specialized Decaf and Aeropress handles it very well.

i think i bought my first Aero Press twenty years ago. I have loved it! I bought a new “original” because the rubber gasket on the plunger is getting tired-still works fine. My favorite coffee maker

its got a minimal learning curve. well the clean up process, inspecific, and I wish I had got the no drip bottom, that would have made a vast difference, to the operation of the machine, would recommend that over the regular version, I would have gone with the stainless press pad and the no drip bottom, the titanium filter is not worth the additional $ers. I tend to go with the regular 3 scoop fill which is about 3 table spoons. the amount that I have been using in my stainless drip filter, (with out a collector) which was a little messy Side drips out side the mug, and do a double fill press for the cup, well a four cup press, I stir, place the plunger in to hold the liquid, press, then refill to a 3.5 to 4 cup refill, often with a slight stir. Press, I should let the device cool off some pull the plunger back up, and un cap the base, and scrape the filter off to keep the mess (coffee grounds) from spreading, then pop the grinds right into the compost bucket, with relatively little mess. the filter I would have to tap the filter, and that would spread the ground over the sides of the bin, often outside the bin meaning more clean up. So this tends to be a little cleaner and Quicker in terms of clean up, but, it dose take more counter top space, the wife has let me keep it in site where as the filter has to live hidden. Just saying.
