Duplicating the flavor of some tea in a bottle
I wanted to duplicate the flavor of some tea in a bottle, in which a case is $49 for 12 bottles. After chatting with AI, this is the same type of tea, the bottler uses. I already love RISHI tea's and now I can just brew up my own green tea for a refreshing cold drink. The flavor seems to be exactly the same and cold brewing the Bancha is very simple...

appreciate the foil inner layer for the 250 g bags
just what I wanted for a simple green tea, w/o microplastics.

Didn't work out well for me in the gaiwan, decent tea
Tried to make this work in a gaiwan because I thought the leaves were larger but they were broken into smaller than expected pieces which makes sense as they are flat brittle leaves prone to crumbling.
That was the only reason I would try this was for the potential for it to work in a gaiwan as sencha is too needle like. I have had sencha before and would prefer that over this.
Lesson learned and next time I will get a kyuusu and dive into Japanese green teas more.
