Thin and flavorless

The last batch I had 5 years ago was flavorful and wonderful. This new batch seems very thin and tastes like dirty water with no richness or interest.

Smelled fishy. Perhaps my tea wasn't fully fermented. Had to dump it. Will it improve by aging?
