Portal Bike Light

Outstanding illumination and run times!

I purchased the Portal light and adapting hardware to mount to my handlebar for 24 hour racing. My first impression was that the consistent brightness throughout the beam pattern kept me aware of all the terrain in front of me, not just a focused area. I also wanted to extend the run time by utilizing the passthrough charging technology. As suggested, I bought a high quality name brand power bank with the correct specifications and the longer run times are amazing! I can ride through the night without touching the Portal light. The intuitive status and mode LED's are easy to read while riding and the mounting hardware holds up to rocky and rooty New England single-track. Well done Outbound Lighting!

Great lights and service

I ordered the Portal & Hangover. The Portal had a power problem. Support replied to my report within just a couple hours and scheduled a replacement to be sent that day. But I was leaving on a bike trip in two days, so they found a Hangover at an LBS. I couldn’t be happier with the combo. I don’t notice any additional weight on my helmet and there is plenty of battery life to get me through a session. They may be pricey but the quality in form and function is exceptional. I’d recommend this combo to anyone.

Basically daylight

These make night riding easy. In the southwest desert in Arizona, the Portal on the bars and Hangover on the helmet is more than enough.
