JS Xero

Finally had some waves to test out the Xero on and it held up to all my expectations. This is a perfect San Diego board to ride on the daily. Paddle power was solid and performance was the same in the hyfi 2.0 paired with a medium set of neutral fins the board just went without thinking about it. Stoked with my 3rd JS and looking forward to more time on the Xero.

A good US east coast surfboard

A super fun board for east coast beach break conditions. Wave conditions in New Jersey can go from 2 ft and onshore to 5 foot and offshore and this board can handle it all. A true all - rounder surfboard.

Very fun hybrid/groveler, I sized down

Originally grabbed a 5’11 in 32L, which is a little over my usual volume but I was looking for something to grovel here in Hawaii during the summer. Ended up taking it out in overhead surf and even with the flat rocker, the board was super responsive and whippy. However, it felt a little chunky under my feet so I grabbed the 5’11 in 30.1L - basically my daily driver dims and volume. I love it; still paddles well, responsive and pushes me through flat/weak sections (where I might bury a rail otherwise).
