BLUE VELVET

Did not take to my thick hair :(

I was so excited for this hair dye because ive heard such good things about it. I had prebleached hair, some parts brassy orange, some parts more like a light yellow. I did the majority of my hair with this dye and smaller areas with a cheaper dye and this dye did not take to most of my hair. I left it on 2 hours and im very disappointed. There is more dye on my scalp than on my hair. When i was applying i noticed it was white when i lathered it on instead of blue and i knew right away it wasn’t going to take and it didn’t. My hair is very patchy and does not look blue, its more like a grayish greenish blue, like a swampish color. :( the other area where i used a cheaper dye was much more vibrant and not patchy at all. I also used 16oz total for my hair and it just Barely was enough versus the other dye where i need only 8oz.

Love this blue. It looks very purple out of the package, but i mixed a little bit of Sea Witch to it, and its a very lovely shade of dark blue.

Did not last as long as expected before washing out.
