Closer shave with guards than before

The beard trimmer works great. I keep my beard short and clean and I use the lower guard. It cuts much closer than the previous version of the beard trimmer which was my main complaint(and I ended up not using previous version at all), however I do still have to use my body trimmer to keep my neck clean as this beard trimmer doesn't seem to work as well to shave a larger area of bare skin--and in all fairness, I don't think it was designed for that. This trimmer is really great for creating smooth edging lines though.

One to compare another one with

I already have a Beard Trimmer from another brand that works really well. I didn't mean to get this one just yet, but missed the skip ship notice and now it's here. I have used it a couple of times and I am not sure but I think it's setting are a little longer than my other one. Example: 5mm on the Dollar Shave is a little longer than on my other one.

This thing is great

I’ve been using the same old worn out razor for a few years, putting off buying a new one. What a mistake. Finally picked up one of these bad boys up and it’s the greatest thing to ever grace my face.
