Big Improvement

I have used Harry's original blades for a few years now and was very satisfied with them, but I'm very impressed with the new upgrade which is very similar to the more expensive Gillette razor and blades that I used to use before I discovered Harry's . This was the second upgraded razor that I have purchased one for our winter home and one for our summer home.

a stunning advance

I'd been a constant user of the basic/original Harry's razor and blades for some years, very satisfied with that (and *certainly* with the prices!). Then, sort of on a whim, I recently decided to get the Harry's+ version, the new one. I was thinking to myself this might only be a marketing ploy, a minor upgrade. But guess what, folks? It is a QUALITATIVELY GIANT advance over the original! In my mid-60s, with a fairly tough bristly beard, I've NEVER before in my life had a shave as *supremely* smooth and simple and effortless as with this razor and this blade. The instructions tell you to swipe in the direction of the hair growth, but I really find that ANY direction works equally well. I can barely feel ANY blade-bristle friction whatsoever: it just cuts away with total smoothness. In the past I've typically done my whole shaving area twice, to really get fully down to the skin, but with this equipment I think the first time fully does the trick. It borders on miraculous, in my long experience. I also love that, in this new design, you can't pop the blade off accidentally with a thumb, as you could on the original design!!! I'm a person who does not gush about a product just for the effect, or for the warm fuzzies: I do it when it's GENUINELY warranted. This product is simply off the charts in how great it is. Especially, I believe, for guys like me with tougher beards who tend to let it go for 3 days or so at a time. Also, the little scrapy-edge thing on the back is fantastic! What a brilliant idea. Bravo to this very remarkable company.

I’m comparing to Gillette,. Schick,and Bic. The weight of the razor is so much better as is the handle and it allows me to get to what is typically a difficult part of my face
