Orfeve - L'Esterre 70% Dark Chocolate - Grenada

A delicate complexity

Some friends and I compared Orfeve's rendition of L'Esterre with another, smaller and younger company's 76% Grenadan bar. The slight change in proportions to a bit more sugar made a difference, letting more of L'Esterre's floral and other subtle, flickering flavors emerge over a few minutes. This is gently complex bar, and therefore all the more enjoyable.

Rich, complex chocolate

One of the best bars I've ever had. Rich, complex flavors. Truly exceptional. Seems to have a lot caffeine—don't eat before bedtime!
