Melon & Toffee Ethiopia

Must take some extra brewing effort

What I have brewed so far is a very nice coffee, it's not exactly melon and toffee. Just a really pleasant coffee. Much better than shop bought stuff or even high street chain coffees, but muted compared to some single origin lighter roasts I've tried from elsewhere. I'm using the 'Hoffmann' formula for creating a V60 brew. 15g, adding 100ml every 20 seconds until 250ml per person.

Good beans. Freshly roasted on the day i ordered them. Roasted slightly darker than my preference. Label contains all necessary information including the SCA score of the beans.

Grind finer....I couldn't, but it still tasted great...

My first journey into a truly Light roasted bean. I knew I was going to have to grind finer and although I have the Meraki with its Timemore grinder, even bottoming out at 1, it was still pulling a 45g shot from 22g dose in 18 Seconds, but, as someone who likes the Chocolate Brownie blend, this was really nice....to me.
