TOPPING E70 VELVET AK4499EX Desktop DAC (Apos Certified)

This is the perfect missing piece for my system so that I can save some life on my Ortofon LVB 250 stylus. It is the closest sounding DAC I could find to vinyl and depending on the vinyl release, sometimes even surpassing the sound of the vinyl. My system is very clean with only a tube power amp, running through a passive pre directly to the DAC and to my apple ipad via USB. All going to Focal 906s. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase and the easy transaction provided by Apos.

Does what it needs to do. It’s presently hooked up to some mediocre speakers so I can’t really comment on the sonic quality of the DAC. The OS/UI takes a bit of getting used to, but it’s not all that complex and fairly easy to learn. Connecting it and getting it set to play was really easy.
