Old Friends Enjoy Rain

I love the picture and final result. Getting the reflection right in the puddle was a challenge but it worked out well. The only issue I had was some of the paints were very very transparent. I had to do at least 3 or 4 coats of the lighter colors to cover the numbers and 2-3 for all of the others.

It is a tedious project yet to be finished. It is more advanced than I am prepared for. The joy is in receiving it, applying one color at a time from light to dark and following the instructions to work top to bottom. It will be a long process and certainly not to be rushed. The staff is amazing and responsive to my concerns with the creases on the canvas. I learn to not use a hot iron, but a warm one should do the job.
