Nice discovery
A surprising collection of New Old Stock of unrecorded songs from the early 20th century. Most songs are interesting, ranging from ragtime to blues. Miss Maybell incorporates the style that the songs require, and the instrumentation also transports us to the era of the music hall.

Five Stars ain't good enough for this...
Wonderful obscure old-timey songs that shouldn't be obscure at all!
Especially when sung by the AMAZING Miss Maybell!
"New York, I'm All For You" should be the official state song, and sung before the Belmont Stakes by Miss Maybell. Every year. Without exception.
Every other song on this disc is a delight, also.
Charlie's piano playing is excellent, and they assembled a fine band to accompany things.

A Great New CD
This is one of the best CDs I have ever heard. I was worried that the reason these songs have remained obscure is because they deserve to be. Not so! Every one of these songs is great, as are the arrangements and performances.D. The only negative is that it is shorter than most CDs these days; there are only 15 songs as opposed to the usual 20-25.
