Throwing Shade (Magic after Midlife #1) | Paperback

Loved it.

Such a pleasure to read about a hero that I can relate to. Although I enjoy books with younger heros I am closer to Mitzi's age 😁 So fun!

I had read the entire Throwing Shade series on my Kindle and loved it so much that on my birthday, I decided to treat myself and purchase a "signed copy" of the first book of the series. My book took a while to get to me due to issues at the printer but the author contacted me and kept me informed about the delays. I appreciated her emails very much and I was content to wait for the book to arrive. My only disappointment with the whole experience is that the author's signature on the first page looks like it's replicated and printed as part of the book and not individually signed by the author. It's true, I DID receive a 'signed copy' of the book I ordered. And, after much consideration, I think that what I expected to receive was more of an 'autographed copy' (for lack of better term). This was my first time ordering a signed copy of anything so I am sharing my experience so that fellow 'newbies' can avoid making the same assumptions I made. I still am a fan the series and of the author. :)
