A Grim Situation: Book 2 of the GrimFaerie Chronicles - EBOOK DB

Not grim at all!

I've been reading fantasy for decades and this series is very enjoyable. It's got great characters, good plots and best of all, a keen sense of humor. The first person perspective of Kane is key to the series' success. Watching him change over the course of the books, while denying that change all the way, makes for a great read. As writing about violence and bloody mahem goes, the writer treads a fine line, giving the reader the savagery needed for the plot, but he doesn't wallow in it with overly lurid descriptions and scenes. I'll be waiting for the next book in the series, I've now read all three.

Great Read

Follows book 1 well, but can be read in isolation due to explanations and referrals to parts of book 1. However it is much better to read after reading Book 1. Hard to put down. Great read for those who like SiFi and fantasy genre.
