HIFIMAN EF600 Desktop R2R DAC/Amp

Excellent with some complaints

1. The knob has play in the turning motion 2. It takes too little force to bend the ends of the knob towards the surface so it may even touch. Not a problem if gentle and not pressing down on it. 3. Volume range is too constrained. Low gain and still I only get a small knob range. A very low gain setting wound be great. 4. The rubber on the bottom grips better when you remove the stickers, but still could grip a little better. Other than these issues, I absolutely love it. Looks great, great form factor, sounds great, Bluetooth works perfectly.

Exceptional upgrade from my schiit modi+/magni+ stack. There’s just more to the music when I a/b between the two, ef600 gives more life and more fullness to the sound. Highly recommend.
