Feather "Hi-Stainless" DE Blades

Unfortunately, the Feather Stainless blades included in the Blackbird bundle are not a good fit for this razor. While Feather is known for its sharpness, in the Blackbird—especially with the standard base plate—they often feel unforgiving, harsh, and prone to causing irritation or small cuts, even with perfect technique. The combination amplifies blade feel in a way that makes the shave feel aggressive rather than efficient. This wouldn’t be a big issue if other blade options were available, but Feathers are now the only option in the bundle, and you are forced to buy them when ordering a razor. This feels unfair, especially considering they don’t pair well with the product. Suggestion to Blackland: please consider either offering different blade options again or removing the mandatory blade bundle. The Blackbird is an outstanding razor—but the Feather blades may leave first-time users with the wrong impression.

Bought purple ti wasn’t crazy about the color and returned for the blue. Much better Love it.
