I like the looks of the curling iron but sadly, in my opinion, there are functional problems that are VERY annoying. The barrel coating appears that it will hold up better than the last curling iron model. So far I have only used the 1" curling iron barrel and this is what I found: 1) the clip on the barrel is short and should be the entire length of the barrel so hair does not fall out of the clip. You have to be too perfect as to where you put the hair so it doesn't fall out 2) the tip has an annoying part sticking out which hurts the fingers when curling the hair (I think it's there to ensure the tip doesn't touch the counter) and should be a tiny bit longer and smooth without grooves 3) the stand is insufficient, it should be the old fashioned movable clip at an angle to ensure the tip does not touch the counter 4) hair can get stuck down in where the spring is and rip hair off 5) the swivel cord isn't the same as the last version curling iron and it doesn't swivel smoothly because of that loop near the swivel 6) sometimes it sounds like it's falling apart probably due to the interchangeable attachments.
