Heavy Duty Clear Flat Reusable Bags by Smelly Proof

Good heavy duty bag.

Sturdy bag, but the closure has me questioning the "Heavy Duty" label

I used two Quart-sized bags as something sturdy and reusable my dog could carry her food in her doggy pack with. They made their maiden voyage on a 6 days trip across the Uinta Highline Trail... The material seems to have held up nicely, much better than the ordinary ziploc freezer bags I've used in the past. Unfortunately, the closure was starting to separate from the bag by the end (see photo). In fairness, my dog can be quite active on the trail, and her pack (which held these bags of food) tends to take some good hits as she runs through brush and trees. Also, the bags started out at maximum capacity leading me to wonder if a little more empty space could have allowed the food to move around more freely without putting pressure on the closure during moments of impact. Overall, I'm going to give the bags the benefit of the doubt. The bag material looks like it could last a long while and I'm hopeful that the closure won't be exposed as a weak link so long as I'm sensitive to not be too hard on it.
