12" Reaper - 30 Watts

Don’t fear the REAPER

I have a pair of TAD speakers which are a cross between a Green Back and a G12H type speaker. The TAD a touch thicker sounding, you have listen really hard other wise the Reaper has a nicer top end. I spent a month comparing UTube videos of the Reaper and the 12 Retro 30. My other favorite. I think the 30 watt Reaper does better a normal lower volumes than the 12 Retro 30. If I had one request of WGS, it would be, to make a 12 Retro 30 type speaker in the 30 to 40 watt range.

Excellent sound out of the box

Loaded this into a modified 5E3 build, works well will that circuit.

Speakers make the difference

I have been trying to get my amp to sound like I want. I’ve tried different effects and filters. I finally changed the speakers and there it is. 2 reapers and 2 green berets in a 4x12 is an amazing thing.
