12" G12A alnico - 75 watts

Better than American Vintage Alnico!

WGS is a brand that I love because it always the most dynamic and open sounding speaker option in comparison to its competitors. I love vintage American speakers and this just blows them away. The extra touch of mid warmness really really helps pair this with any guitar. I'm so impressed, I was eyeing this for years I finally took a chance and wish I did earlier, and I would have saved lots of dough if I did. I tried the rest now I found the best.

G12A in Princeton

I have 2 Princeton 1x12 Reverb reissues, and put a WGS Blackhawk in the 1st and liked that so much I wanted another for the 2nd. I ordered the G12A for it, and I could not be happier with the voicing in both amps. Maybe even higher than 5 stars.

Excellent speaker

This is my favorite speaker out there. I have a 8” in a vintage supro supro, a 10” in a vintage fender super champ, two in a 4x12 in a X pattern and a 15” in a 1967 supro thunderbolt. Nails that sweet alnico sound in the neck position and gets dirty with the bridge. Very happy.
